Abstract Madness Art

Here are a couple interpretation pieces about madness based on Erik's lesson plan. The first one's imagery is sort of inspired by the quote from Hamlet that says, "O, that this too too solid flesh would melt, Thaw, and resolve itself to dew!"

The second is more inspired by the De Stjil movement and color field painters (although I used a secondary color as one of my main four - gasp!). I feel like those types of paintings introduce a lot of order, and therefore disrupting that order shows madness.
